and money; women's issues are what The Hairball is all about. Today's women will leave a legacy to the girls who come after us. We are their models. We must promote our self-esteem instead of twisting ourselves into emotional pretzels and draining our energies by colluding with the media's damaging images and distorted projections. It's time to speak up for self-acceptance and to provide mutual support for each other instead of simply accepting competition as the only viable societal model. It's time to get out the stuff that's stuck inside!
